Thanks all. He is dry camping now taking boy scouts on rock climbing adventure so has no 120v overnight (can't run gen overnight where he is). He is trying to jerry rig something for the long weekend with a battery but looking for something more permanent. He has new CPAP and supposed to have 12v. When he gets back next week I'll go down to his house and wire a 12v outlet next to the bed and another in the kitchen area if I don't find one. Tiger, that's the problem I ran in to. Sent email to mfgr but no response.
