- Downwindtracke1ExplorerWe have a TT, a nice 2013 Creekside and a 1999 Adventurer TC. It got to be too much for this old phart to put up and take down my hunting camp, so the DW suggested buying a used camper. The camper had only been used less than 1/2 dozen times. The interior was like new. I've resealed it and replaced the rot.We now have two very nice RVs. I also have quite a list of drawers to build. While the wife likes the camper, the trailer is nicer. We use the camper when the forestry site is too rough and tight or on the ferries. BC Ferries charge by the foot, not by the height.

Up until June, we were working fulltimers in our DRV Mobile Suite 5er. Since 2013, we've been planning towards his Retirement. Early last year, we bought a 2nd one, a Lance 1172 TC to take on a 5 wk "most" expenses-paid Sabbatical. We had the trip of a Lifetime crisscrossing the country in June with our then 14yo GD. It was so easy to pull into small 30amp spots for the night or stop at Museums or the Beach along the way without taking the camper off.
But as always, Plans A, B and C turned into Plan X when back in Jan, DH came down sick and needed a hospital stay that led to surgery in May. After that, he just couldn't find the energy or desire to go back to work, so he took early Retirement.
We thought we'd still use the TC, but are thinking since he now has other medical issues to deal with, we may need to go back to one RV and have listed the TC for sale. The 5er is still our home and is sitting on our RV Lot while we patiently wait for the VA to give us a diagnosis and long-term prognosis.
Uff da! Health will always betray one in the end. Hopefully things will turn to the better. Get more than one diagnosis. - Click-It RV just north of the hwy 2/395 "Y" (parking lot of the old Newport Cinema) just got in a shipment of new Coachmen Clippers (same layout as the Viking). They caught my eye due to the new color (tan), and they were all parked in a row, visible from Highway 2 as I drove by tonight.

A 16-17' with a wet bath. We'd like a used one so we can give having a TT a try without breaking the bank. If we could, we'd rent one but that seems to not be an option.
The only one with a Wet Bath I have seen is a small toy hauler that Freedom RV has.
Check out the Coachmen 17 series trailers.
There's the
17BH, (front full size bed, rear bunks
17RD: Front bed, mid bath, rear dinette
17FQ: Front Queen, mid kitchen/dinette, good size rear bath with it's own sink.
Also, 16B: front bed
Freedom RV has all the above in stock.
Across the freeway, BlueDog and RVs Northwest have the same floorplan as the 17BH.
BlueDog has the Forest River/ Grey Wolf or Wolf Pup, Forest Rover/Salem Cruise Lite.
Nextdoor at RVs Northwest, they have the Forest River/Wildwood.
I really can't stand RVs Northwest because the receptionist pretty much won't let you past the front desk until a salesman comes over to the front door.... and forget about going outside to look at the RVs without an escort, unless you somehow manage to get in the front door and avoid the receptionist, and skirt your way around behind the floor models undetected by the sales people. LOL
thanks deltabravo.
We've looked at and like the Retro 166 that Blue Dog sells. My cousin has a Wolf Pup but I didn't like the bunk beds in front and the small bed/dinette in the back. Maybe there's a different model.
We had an interesting experience at Blue Dog in Post Falls. Went in to ask about small TTs, the receptionist went back to ask the manager?, and came back to tell us they didn't have any at all. Must have been a bad day or something since they had a bunch on the lot. On the other hand, we looked at Blue Dog's TTs on display at Cabelas a month later and a guy we had talked to last year (Bill) was very helpful. Interesting variability in salesmanship. - hitchupExplorerUp until June, we were working fulltimers in our DRV Mobile Suite 5er. Since 2013, we've been planning towards his Retirement. (the one that fits into the back of my pick-up)

- rickeoniExplorerI have the two in my sig, also currently restoring a Bonair BA1200 popup.
- jimh406Explorer IIII'm leaning toward building a customized utility trailer. I'd like conventional furniture with the potential to bring along toys. The question is should it be long enough for car hauling duty as needed, or not.
