Who checks their oil?
After doing an oil change? Do ya dump in the reccomended amount of oil, put the cap on, slam the hood down and takeoff? Or do you check to make sure it reads right on the dipschtick?

I drain the oil, remove the old filter, fill up the new filter and then dump 3 gallons of oil in the fill in the tube. A few days later after the truck has sat at work after the morning commute I'll go check it and top it off. Works out to be perfect or just a little under but well within the hashmarks.
