Who checks their oil?
After doing an oil change? Do ya dump in the reccomended amount of oil, put the cap on, slam the hood down and takeoff? Or do you check to make sure it reads right on the dipschtick?

I check my dipstick after an oil change...I also look under the vehicle to see if the oil pan plug and new filter is not leaking. I also mark my filter and check after an oil change to see if a new filter was installed by the oil change place.
I also make sure the oil cap is on correctly and tightened.
I do all this not because I'm persnickety...I am...but because in the 54 years I've had vehicles I've had screw ups that pertain to all those extra checks I do.
