Who checks their oil?
After doing an oil change? Do ya dump in the reccomended amount of oil, put the cap on, slam the hood down and takeoff? Or do you check to make sure it reads right on the dipschtick?

In our area used oil is picked up curbside so disposing of it is a non-issue. I generally check the level after I run it a little bit to distribute the oil through the system. I do not bother with pre-filling the filter in any of my vehicles. It would be a massive PITA to do it in the truck with the idiotic filter location.
