Unfortunately, it only takes one dose of water in the tank to give you problems for years. That bubble of water will roll around on the bottom of the tank, only a bit of it gets picked up once in a while, and it can go on for a long time. You might think you are getting a lot of bad fuel, when really it was just one time.
