63000 miles on our 05 duramax but the water in fuel has come on and off since 09. Changed the water sensor and no change so this april coming home from Az I disconnected the wire from the fuel sensor. No change, water in fuel was showing on the dash. Chev reflashed the system and all is good. NEVER had water in fuel as I have drained the fuel filter several times and checked the inbed fuel tank. Water in diesel is not a tough call it shows up instantly. New fuel filter every 6000 miles or once a year. I do it myself and soon will do it again.
