That is what I am afraid of. However, I am at 100k and never seen it. I try to stick to busy stations so I don't get fuel that has been sitting too long, but I don't have any other precautions.

It was at a newer station, we had a big snow and then it thawed and the runoff somehow went into the diesel tank, they designed something wrong. I was one of a hand full that had the EXTRA water. Lucky it was my 98 12V Cummins no harm. Removed the bed cleaned the tank out bled the injectors and the fuel filter.
