Thousands of miles even in OTR Trucks never had any water. Now on farm tractors different issues. But that is from a metal tank sitting in the hot sun year around. If its full not an issue, but get half full and you know what that heat will do. Yes make moisture form and run down into the tank.
Filter on our tank is changed out every 6 months. But on my Trucks never an issue or has not been yet. Knocking on wood..
