No offence, but I was not looking for advice on whether to buy a RamBox.
I understand that the lids could not be up when turning a 5W. That said, it seems to me very unlikely the trailer itself will catch on the RamBox; if that were possible it would catch on the box sides regardless of RamBox because they appear to me to be exactly the same height.
I suspect that the hitch itself hits the RamBox because factory hitches slope down and forward and pivot in the center of the box. Which is why I mentioned that I already own an Airborne Sidewinder, which does not slope down and foward (not in the same way, at least) and which pivots well behind the 5W hitch.
Back to my inital request......If anybody actually knows whether a 5w is possible with RamBox and Airborne/Sidewinder, I would really like to hear from you.
As for the rest, I am pretty familiar with pickup storage options, having owned around 3 dozen pickups with and without toolboxes. Thanks.
