Hopefully they had enough $$$ to properly install the hitch, and a brake controller.

  • I would think you would have to build a sub frame to attach the 5th wheel hitch to.

Those are just drilled through he floor and bolted to the frame!

    What frame? Unibody!!! Chris
  • It's built on a minivan/crossover body. The material under the bed floor is metal. I'm sure it's attached the same way they do regular pick ups. Those are just drilled through he floor and bolted to the frame!

What the heck did he attach the hitch to? Isn't the bed floor a plastic composite?

    Can be even turn?

Not sure about the material, but there is a "Trunk" under the bed, wonder what he did with it.
Likely didn't have an issue with the weight 5,000# towing capacity.

Lots of photos on GOOGLE IMAGES on-line showing small vehicles towing 5th wheel trailers...

The problem comes when going down US82 between MS and Arkansas and meeting one of those hugh truck loads of logs stacked up 12-feet tall going 70MPG on a two lane road... Your chances are not good haha...

I used to spot my 4200lb popup trailer at home here all the time with my Sears LT1000 yard tractor too... Looked something like this google image photo
