A dealer does not have to do anything.
They are independently owned and are not affiliated with RV mfgs.
Many choose to not do warranty work on units that are not purchased from them, because the warranty labor rate paid is not anywhere near where their current labor rate is.
If you owned a business, would you take less money to do a job when you didn't make anything? Lose money in theory?
Sometimes its just not worth the hassle....
