Yes that is correct. I forget exactly, how it worked. Something about certain states having reciprocal tax agreements.
Since I was making a long distance deal, I went thru my credit union..
I highly recommend this. They make sure that everything goes smooth. They even had my temporary plate for me to take to Ohio to put on the TT.
Yep, that's exactly right on the tax agreements. When we purchased a TT in Michigan back in 2004, they collected the sales tax as they have an agreement with the state of Ohio about it.
