I agree though, give me a turbo 4 in a Tacoma or Dakota and that would be a nice combo.
You would still be very lucky to get 30 MPG with a turbo four. You are still looking at a heavy box with poor aerodynamics and of course, people are going to want their 4wd whether they ever use it or not.
