I leased an '06 Ridgeline and the V-6 was lucky to get 16 mpg highway empty. When the lease was up, Honda Leasing wanted $18k for the buyout, even though they had a ton of them on the lot for $16k. I took my $18k and bought a fully loaded '06 Ram 4X4 extended cab Hemi, with 12k less miles on the odometer. The Ram Hemi shut down cylinders when cruising and routinely got 18 to 20 mpg on the highway. Honda doesn't have a clue when it comes to designing trucks.
