We bought new after looking at used rigs... The used rigs were all dealer used rigs too.. No private sellers..
The used rigs smelled, were beat up and just not something we felt we would be happy with, no matter how low cost they were.
We paid more for a new rig just because any of the stink and how much it was used was done by us alone..
We still own that first RV to this day and it still works fine for us and don't care what it's resale value is because it's been paid for since 2005 and it's ours!
I've had people knock on my door at my house asking if I would sell it!! It's parked on the side of my house, and people come up asking if they could buy it! Crazy..
I say no, but thank you for the offer...
