^^^LOL, Passive aggressiveness again. As I have said multiple times already, my truck does not perform poorly in 6th. It will easily pull in 6th at 65 mph especially with the added power. It just gets better fuel economy in 5th at around 1,800 rpm when towing at 65 mph.
My truck will have a harder time holding 6th at 60-55 mph, but so would my brothers completely stock 2014 2500 CTD and his 2012 F350 PSD he had before that even though his trans gear(.674) and rear diff gear(3.55) were even shorter than his Ram 2500. On flats it was okay in 6th at these low speeds, but slight grades will cause it to downshift when towing anything over 8k.
So will my father in laws 2019 F350(3.55 ratio) when he is towing his gooseneck cattle trailer. There is a long stretch of Farm to Market road where the speed limit is 55 mph on the way to to the livestock market which he generally drives 60 mph. Unloaded the trailer weighs about 6k and he can easily do keep 6th at these speeds even up hills. Loaded with about 4-6 heads of cattle the trailer will easily get passed 10k and he has to lock out 6th to keep it from shifting all the time at these speeds going through the hills.
