Why are you talking about light loads? My 13k trailer is not a light load for my gearing. I already stated multiple times that my truck will be better in 6th with light loads under 7k which is about 40% of its max rating(the one that the engineers design it for) for my gear ratio. My trailer is over 75% of my truck's max for its gear ratio, but only about 40% of a 4.10 geared Ram's max rating. It may be a light load for a 4.10 geared truck, but not for mine which is what we are talking about.
