Right. How many actual Tire Design Engineers did you expect to hear from on this popular subject? The subject line is the bait. All one has to do is put "Tire", "Hitch", "Generator", or "Diesel" in the subject to get an
automatic ten pages of opinions on any of those topics. A handful, or even a dozen personal experiences, cannot accurately define the why and how of tire design. There is always a cost/performance factor in all such things. I just put over 8,000 hot high speed miles on a set of no name ST tires without a problem. Does that mean that they are the best available? I don't know, but they accomplished what I purchased them for.
