I get that. At one time,a tire person came on here to explain the reason that ST tires exist. Supposedly, they have real advantages when it comes to the unique application on our travel trailers.
I do not know. I do know that a few personal experiences, even numbering in the hundreds, does not mean much compared to the thousands and thousands of trailers on the road when it comes to statistics. Given the cost savings resulting from scale of production, it would seem to be cheaper for the companies involved to throw some other tires on the trailers rather than mess with the specialized ST's.
