Why don't the manufacturers recommend LT tires??

So after seven pages we have learned that what the tire manufacturers say, may or may not be important to some folks. What the TT manufacturers say, may or may not be important to some folks.

So in answer to the OPs original question; it is because for whatever the reason, most of the TT manufacturers do not feel the need for any other tire types than ST's.

You now have seven pages of opinions as to why that is.
