Some of you guys crack me up. What part of "LT tires are designed and tested to a higher standard" do you not understand ?
Look, if you all want to use ST tires, that's terrific and I wish you the best of luck. But you cannot deny the differences in the testing protocol for the two types.
There are no guarantees in life, but as I said earlier, in my mind it makes sense to try to stack the odds as favorably as I can for the things I use.
Just got home from another long pull with the horse trailer on my favorite LT tires. The horse even showed well, so I'm doubly happy.
