I can't say this is a good reason, but a fellow I know has a tilt bed truck that he hauls forklifts on. He starts it in the morning and it runs all day long. I asked why he didn't shut it down and he said fuel is cheap compared to the $1200 starter. I havent seen him in awhile, but I know he did this for many years.:h
