I about flipped with excitement a few weeks ago when we visited our Chevy dealership and there was a new Chevy Suburban on the lot. However, it was a 1500. I asked the salesman about new 2500's and he said they are sold as "Fleet" models only. Meaning, only companies can purchase (new) the 2500's. They aren't manufactured for the average citizen. I think that sucks myself!
But taking that into consideration is probably the reason why you won't find very many used 2500's either. There just aren't that many used 2500's Suburbans "out there" to be bought. The commercial (fleet) market for new 2500 Suburbans is a LOT smaller than the private sector market wanting 1500's. So, fewer vehicles originally going to businesses, what's the chances of those getting resold to the general public. Not very likely. When and if you find one, grab it!
