Oh, nothing much...Just a whole bunch of posting by folks with rigs so complicated that if a fuse blows they can't get out of their driveways.
Just remember, we were all beginners at one point...If people are treated like they're stupid, they'll go elsewhere to find their information.
Popup Explorer is very active for PUP folks. - happynowExplorerThanks to everyone posting here, the above responses explain a lot for someone learning about Folding Trailers...and the community. I too, have been puzzled why there is so little activity on this forum.
We are Tent Campers in search of a Hard side folding PUP unit or PUP in the future. Still deciding what unit we will purchase.
Grateful to have have received helpful answers to the specific questions I have posted on this forum. Had hoped seeing questions and experiences in this forum would help to guide us toward a final decision.
Was beginning to think we might be making a mistake to go this route. After reading this post I feel a little wiser, will continue to read and learn. - regis101ExplorerIf I had to explain it, "they" wouldn't understand.
Between you and me, perfectly schweet. - popupcampingExplorerI will say our 10 night trip to NH was perfect. Umbagog lake being a real treat. hoping to stay longer next year. Also a real gem was Conway Lake. My 8 year old caught a 16inch large mouth in the first 15min on the lake.
My push button cutoff for the roof lights and fan quit on the trip but I just pulled the wires off and taped them together. Fixed in 5 minutes. Got home and put a new HD metal push button from local Canadian Tire for 14 bucks and it is better than new. Hoping to get out in the next week if the weather behaves. - Francesca_KnowlExplorer

Just got back from yet another epic awesome camping trip.
Did I miss anything?
Oh, nothing much...Just a whole bunch of posting by folks with rigs so complicated that if a fuse blows they can't get out of their driveways. Also people complaining because they can't get reservations at Huge Cumbersome Rigs R Us...
So...how's life in the "just like to get out there, don't need all the bells and whistles" world? :B - regis101ExplorerJust got back from yet another epic awesome camping trip.
Did I miss anything? - Nv_TravelerExplorerI post photo's when I can in the sticky but reading prior entries they only want photo's in there without discussion. Recently I got in a minor discussion regarding tow vehicvle but when I can I will not comment as it seems they don't want us to. I like looking at what people are up to but I don't have alot of advice. I'm not negative but I would certainly appear stupid.
- ElBesoBlancoExplorerI dont think pop ups are less popular. I went from having a motorhome to a travel trailer and now to my hard sided pop up. It is a dream to tow, saves gas and stores with ease. They dont seem to stay on the dealer lots very long and the wait to receive them has often been months!
I participate in other Forums that are more active. For one, I have difficulty posting photos on this site, so I dont bother. Also note this site is not ascourteous as the others in regard to negativity. Some responses I hace read are rude and hostile enough to make the average person walk away...and not return again.
Also, weather's great - maybe those pop up people are out enjoying their nearly trouble free units! yipee! LOL - pcfeldExplorerStrange that I actually checked in when this is active. Like others mentioned I believe they may have went else where. A number of times questions posted are first answered by larger rigs and the answers don't work due to the differences in the working componets of the two. After a couple of answers that are completely off base they move on not to return.
I for one go elsewhere for my answers because of previous responses that were either completely off base or what I considered inappropriate. - Mike_UpExplorerWell pop up explorer is pretty active, maybe everyone went there.
