You are probably unloading the front axle on the prerunner too much and also have other issues.
First, post the year, make, and model of the trailer. Also the weights if you know them. Have you ever scaled the trailer to see how much it weighs when loaded for camping? Do you know the tongue weight of the trailer and how that effects your payload capacity? What is the allowable towing weight limit of the prerunner?
