It sounds like your trailer is removing too much weight off the front tires of the truck. Before you spend any money on fixes you really should spend $20 on getting the entire setup weighed. This will tell you (and us) what your are faced with.
Look online for a public scale, CAT scale, landfills, moving companies typically will weigh your setup for a nominal fee. Load up for camping, hook up the trailer and go to the scale.
If the scale has three pads put the truck front wheels on one pad, the rear wheels on the next pad, and the trailer wheels on the third pad. Have everyone stay in the truck and get the weight and then pull off the scale and park the trailer out of the way. Then go back over the scale and weigh the truck one axle at a time alone without the trailer.
If the scale only has one pad just weigh each axle separately, then unhook the trailer and weigh just the truck one axle at a time.
Come back here and give us all the numbers and we can tell you if you need weight distribution.
