You wont find a bigger fan of the Expy/Navigator than I am. We tow where most SUV's will never go and have 4x4'd where jeeps have failed. Every trip we take is in the Rockies and believe me, the 07 can pull Ike at the speed limit.
there are people here that pull larger trailers with Expys/Navigators. Our trailer grosses at 7000 pounds and with a 13% tongue weight that is 910 pounds. The mountains are no place to be pushing the limits. Have a issue going down the back side of Ike and it's not the same as pulling over on the flat and level.
As much as I'd love a new Expy, I'd have to agree with the above. I'd go for the motorhome.
