I have owned three late model (07,09, and 13) Silverado 2500HD's with the 6.0 engine. All used a lot of gasoline, but I went a lot of places. Plenty of power for everything I towed up to 9,000 pounds. Each was better than the last and the six speed made picking a power/cruising gear very easy. I liked the 3,400 pounds of payload when I was playing around with a truck camper.
