Why the hard feelings about the 6.0 Chevy?

When I read posts from people claiming it to be a "gutless gas guzzling engine with no power to tow significant loads" I would say that they are a hater. I can reference this if you would like. Multiple times. Even on this forum.

There are always people wanting it to do more than it is capable of, I know this. But when people ask honest questions, stating WHY they have no choice but the 6.0 in a truck or SUV platform or just don't want a diesel and are constantly told they won't be happy without a diesel, then what kind of help is that giving?

Like I said many times, I agree the diesel is far superior but when faced with the gas SUV as your only option, should I just not buy a TT and stay in a motel? Or buy a TT that doesn't work for the needs of my family because it is too heavy, in other's opinions, for a gas SUV?

Saying people are haters is no more inflammatory than your useless comment here. I do read what others are posting on the other forums etc, which is why I bring up the question as to why it seems so many people aren't happy with the 6.0L? Are these just unrealistic expectations people have of the platform or true and honest limitations? Maybe I should have asked, are people wanting it to tow like a diesel when obviously it can't? Maybe if the people who dislike them so much just bought a diesel they would be happier?
