looking at 09 and 10s any suggestions on a better year than others and any changes to 3.6 ?? direct injection in 10 ??? searching internet , but this web site has been so helpful for me for many, many years.
Great vehicle BUT not for towing.
That 3.6L motor is more a greyhound than a shire horse - it has minimal torque under 3000rpms (which is where you need it for towing) but once it gets going (4000 rpms and up) it flies!
The transmission hunting up and down will get to you in the end, other than highway driving I use the manual selector on the shifter.
Minor issues with leaking water pumps and the gas mileage is AWFUL (you probably do better with the 'Burb!) but for a comfortable, quiet and roomy 7 or 8 passenger vehicle it takes some beating.
