- Dick_BExplorerOur pump is under the sink. There is no guarantee that it has a Heater bypass to save a few $$.
- mileshuffExplorerOn our Winnebago 5th wheel the bypass is on the back of the heater itself. Access is through a panel in an exterior storage cabinet.
- temccarthy1ExplorerYour bypass will be on the back of the heater through a wooden access panel that usually has 2 little screws... May be under your oven like mine-- Just look to see what inside is directly behind your water heater exhaust screen outside. I think all late model TT's have a close off valve..
- temccarthy1ExplorerAlso.. make sure to remove the nylon plug outside behind your heater access screen and drain your heater..but put the plug back in to keep insects from crawling into your heater and clogging up your water lines in the Spring!
- temccarthy1ExplorerAs far as the water pump, mine is under the Queen bed mattress in the bed enclosure in the front of my TT.. Lift your mattress and look under there.
- bafbobExplorerThanks to all who responded to this post. For those that have my Winnebago model, the water pump is accessed by removing the wood panel in front of the lower bunk. there is a valve and hose already installed for pumping in antifreeze, no kit needed. The water heater by pass valves are accessed by removing the lower bunk mattress. then you will see a panel with a round hole you can use to lift up the panel to reach.
