I agree with 2oldman... It all depends on the generator and whether or not their ratings are fictional.. Definitely borderline.
I had a Generac IX2200 and it would not run my A/C. I could occasionally get it to start on low but it wouldn't run long before kicking the auto protect. It also had issues running a microwave. It would only start the microwave about half the times I tried using it.
I ended up buying a Champion 3100w and it works perfectly.
