Will Expedition be OK with trailer I'm looking to purchase?

Hi! Brand new - love the info I've found so far! Some is way over my head, so here it goes: We've got a 2007 Ford Expedition (not EL). Standard tow package, no brake controller that I'm aware of...

With a tongue weight of 479 empty and GVWR of 6979 (unloaded 4069) your Expedition should not have a problem. Would go with a good WD hitch and install a brake controler.
