Will the new Ram 1500 diesel need an exhaust brake?

Though I wish I was, I'm not in the market currently. Just wanted to start the conversation and was curious about your input. I personally doubt it will ever be an option, unless this new model is wildly successful and the consumers demands it.

So... Aside from that nice feature, how does engine braking compare between diesels and gassers? Especially when we are talking about something this small!
