I drive 365 days a year. I tow maybe 15 of those days. For me the trade off in loss of fuel economy, worse ride quality, more expensive maintinence and registration, and not being able to fit in my garage, leaves a 3/4 ton truck out of the equation. I can't justify using a 3/4 ton as a daily driver, which I need to do with my truck. I drive 3/4 and 1 ton vehicles every day for work. They're absolutely terrible compared to a 1/2 in terms of everyday driveability.
As long as you have an F150 with appropriate payload, it will handle a trailer that size without batting an eye.
