I don't think so. All you have to do is go to the truck camper or fifth wheel forums and you will see that there are many many over weight trucks hauling campers and fifth wheels...
More like 50-75% from what I see. Heck, the Arctic Fox 8.6 puts 1 tons over weight!
Are you saying 50-75% of F-150 owners are maxing out their GVWR or GCWR? Or 50-75% of vehicle owners? That is a very high number.
