WIND RIVER GONE

Sold my Out Doors RV today and am very happy that it went to a new owner. 2010 model Wind River that I had to basically rebuild. I am so happy to be rid of it. The new owner has something nice to camp with thanks to me and my check book. Hotel/Motel from here on out.
  • Not everyone likes to haul a barn around the country, not everyone likes to portage a canoe and gear between lakes and of course living out of a suitcase and eating out all the time can get to be a drag.

We all define our own idea of fun and I have found the broader that definition the more fun I have.

It is good that a person posts the fact that the RV or camping life style was not what they thought it would be. I just wonder what it was that disappointed them?

  • Did the hotel/motel/B&B thing for 12 years riding MC's with the wife. Had enough. It's so nice to have your own bed and not have to live out of a suitcase. Paying for over priced meals and wondering if the maid really did clean the toilet. No more listening to the next room's tv blaring or some loud talker at 6:30am.

    Too bad it didn't workout.
  • Enjoy those campfires in the sink, hiking in the parking lot, and bedbugs.:W
  • A lot of folk find that they are not "campers" after spending a bunch of money on a camper and "all the fixin's". Enjoy your Hotel/Motel experience.
