Window curtains

We need some window curtains. Anyone know of a place to get ready made
curtains.
My wife doesn't sew.
There were regular curtain rods in the unit when I bought it, but no curtains.
Thanks for any and all ideas. Jim
  • When we needed new currents we went to a drape store.
Gave them the sizes and they made the curtains.
  • I bought mine at JC Penney. Look on-line or look in the catalog at the store. I had to order them. Very reasonable price, like $10 for a pair.

They are kitchen window size lengths, 30"L, 36"L. I found some great thick brown ones that insulate and keep the RV dark inside for sleeping, and block out hot sun.
  • Got ours at wall-mart. They where insulated and we cut them to fit.
    Good luck
  • Depends on how fancy you want to go. If you're after some pretty basic curtains, Walmart, Penney's, other similar stores. If you're after something high end and high dollar, Camping World has a selection in their catalog. On our HTT, it came standard with mini-blinds over the kitchen sink area and curtains with valance and tie-backs on the others. I grew to hate the curtain part of that pretty quickly and took some measurements of the windows, made a stop at Lowe's where they were cut to fit, kept the valances that matched the upholstery and got out for less than $50. DH installed....about a 1 beer per window project. If you get lucky, WM carries a wide selection of mini-blinds and might have the right width...you would have to shorten them as they're something like 64" or 72" length, but instructions are included. Additional beer is required for this extra work.
  • The nice thing about the insulated type available at wal-mart is that if you need to cut them to fit, they will not fray, and you won't need to hem them. They are inexpensive and can be replaced as needed. Also, the insulation wilunitl be helpful in heating/cooling your
