- mich800ExplorerSomebody at FCA really messed up. Those probably should never have been outside without their camo even if they were covered.

Never liked the square fender wells on the Chevy. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess.DakotaDad wrote:

Just because it's brand new doesn't mean we have to like it, and GM will be releasing it's new 2019 trucks next year and from what I can tell they're ditching the square fender wells.
BTW... The sides look very similar to a 90's Dakota. - smurfs_of_warExplorerI think it looks fine, but did anyone else notice the amount of rake on that thing? Wow!
- HannibalExplorerI like the looks of all three!
- Cummins12V98Explorer IIII sure hope the HD is a HE!! of a lot better looking!!! I was planning on a new 19 but we will see.
- jus2shyExplorerPersonally, it appears that some of that "Big Rig" styling has gone away in this latest version. I wonder if the HD's will follow suite, or if they will be given a unique face (like Ford F-150 vs F-250+). It's certainly more brickish looking like Ford and GM currently has. I also wonder how much of this plays into aerodynamics. I do love the fact that it seems like they're going with LED headlights. It's been a pet peeve that they never got a better lighting package than the halogen setups offered currently. GM and Ford had the advantage there with optional HID or LED headlights (well for Ford, at least starting 2017 for their HD trucks).
This made me like my current rig a little more. I'll hold out final judgement until I see the 3/4 or 1-ton trucks roll out. - Bionic_ManExplorerI'd say the front reminds me of a Durango. This is one of those where the new look will have to grow on me (or not).
I won't be in the market for a 2019 anyway, so my opinion doesn't really matter. - DakotaDadExplorer

I think the sides look similar to the current Durango. And the front has a passing resemblance, too. Not bad, but more SUV-ish than truck. Then again, it's just a 1500, not an HD, so I suppose I should temper my expectations.
That'd help the GMs a lot to get rid of the square wheel wells. The looks have grown on me a bit, aside from those. Interested to see the next gen Ram HDs, too. Though with only 18k on my truck, it's a moot point what any of 'em will look like. A lot of years to go before I'll be shopping again. - souraiderExplorerLooks like the Toyota Tundra.
