Winnebago Micro Mini Owners - Are You Happy?

Hi folks,

We just spent the day today looking at a bunch of TTs at several dealers and makes, and we liked a few different models. Our favorite was the Winnebago Micro Mini 2106FBS (or 2106DS, not sure which we'd go with). We liked it because it was very roomy for a small camper, and the fit & finish inside seemed to be there for the price. We also looked at Colemans which were nice and cheaper, but you could tell where they saved money on the inside. Concerned that those won't hold up over the long haul. Of course if we could pick up a used one cheap enough we could probably make due if they'll hold up.

To owners of these Micro Minis - are you happy with them? Are there any issues that we should be on the look out for? We are probably going to try to find a used one since that saves us even more money, but just wondering if these things are money pits and should we look elsewhere. Obviously the dealership says they're the best smaller trailers on the market, but we were also told that by the other dealer about the Colemans.

  • Thank you Rob, I will see if I can find a Winnebago forum - I'm sure there are many - and ask there. Good idea.

LAJ - thank you for your information, we really liked all the Winnebago models we looked at today. The 2106FBS seemed to meet the perfect compromises of size, towability, and space for us.
  • Check out the Minnie owners on Facebook. Many folks such as yourself ask the same questions. You will get a wealth of responses. I own the larger Minnie Plus. We used to own the earlier model of the 2106FBS (2101FBS) and traded it for our current trailer. We chose the Minnie Winnie line because of the quality of build. Winnebago is a lot better at finishing touches than most manufacturers. Not the best and not always perfect, but better than most.
  • When I (and others) see posts like this on a general RV forum, we often suggest posting the question on the owners' forum for the specific manufacturer. You're much more likely to find someone with the specific model you're interested in and, if you ask for honest feedback, you'll likely get it.
