- Pjm0486ExplorerYes, I'm having picture issues. I'll try to remedy that. We stayed at Tahquamenon Fallls and had the whole place to ourselves. We also got to stay at Muskallonge Lake. The maintance guys there cleared us a spot. The falls were mostly frozen but with some flowing water. It was an adventure for a Miami kid. Until this trip I'd never seen a snow mobile or snow shoes in real life, I've never seen that much snow either. I'll be going back next year for sure.
- rexlionExplorerI haven't been to Paradise in winter, but have traveled M-28 from Marquette to the Engadine turnoff in December and January. Let's just say Miami sounds more like Paradise, than does Paradise in winter! Glad you had fun, though. Were the falls frozen over?
- btggraphixExplorerLooks like fun! I've been to the UP just a couple of times. A summer trip on the way home from Montana to Indiana, up to the very tip of the Keweenaw peninsula......a ski trip in high school to Hancock (and skied the Porkies and Mt. Ripley)....and once on a circum-Lake Superior mineral deposits field trip in grad school. I want to go back.....
(I figured if I am going to edit it to look at the photos, I might as well repost it :) But it didn't work....OK, now I got it.
- in your sharing program, you can use the "direct" address in the box here: - travelnutzExplorer IIPjm, looks very familiar to us and the UP is beautiful summer or winter. We have been at Tahquamenon Falls CG many times in the winter which is onlt a few miles from Paradise.
I got to see your 2 pics by copy and paste into to the browser addy before you attempted to make them appear on your thread post. Now they are just red X's
