Thanks all for the replies. It has been very helpful.
Thanks for the offer to check on the rig, that's very kind of you!
We will not be too far away from the storage property and family lives right next door as well.
The battery thing is something else I was wondering about. The TT has two 6v golf cart batteries and the converter/charger has a charge wizard installed.
During the typical 3 winter months the trailer is at the storage property I plug it into my brother in-laws garage circuit and that keeps the batteries ok.
In this case where the TT will be there 3 years I'd rather not impose on him if possible, as that one circuit is rather light and it's the only one in garage if I recall correctly.
I've checked the cells charge state and the water level and all is good with the batteries at this time.
I was kind of hoping I could just disconnect the batteries and leave them there unattended for the duration?
Or I suppose I could check and charge them once each year?

Other things to consider when preparing for long term storage. remove the battery, and place the trailer on blocks with the tires off the ground, mouse proof it as best you can, leave the refer door open, wash any and all cloth items prior to storage, and remove all personal items.
We live in Oak Harbor, If it is near, we'd check on it once in a while if you like. ( no charge )
