Winterizing with tankless air compressor

I was always under the impression that fast moving air (a pressure wave perhaps) was part of the success of compressor based winterizing. I wonder how effectively a tankless compressor will move water that is pooling in low spots. I guess as long as the valves are all cleared. How do you compressor based winterizing guys clear the water pump?

Personally, I think I'll stick with the absolutely simple pink method that doesn't require any outside hardware or power.
