The reason I want to do the air method is because I want to be able to take the trailer out some this winter. Our first outing will be November 9th-11th. It's supposed to be right around freezing. The second time over Thanksgiving.
If I understand correctly, we're ok while we're using it at the campsite, but I'm guessing I would want to blow it out before we pack up and drive back.
The trailer we bought has the thermal package, though I don't know if that changes anything, really.
I usually use the air method for the same reasons. It takes a bit longer on the front end but when you want to camp you just hit the road. I don't re-winterize until I get home - the motion and heat during travel has always worked for us - might be different depending how severe the weather.
