Is the rear bumper intended to be where the sewer hose can be stored? Also can this be added after the fact easily?
Added the bumper and fox landing to mine after the "fact". You do not have to use the bumper for the sewer hose storage (see the PVC "container" on the passenger side below). The bumper doors are not water tight something to keep in mind when choosing what to store there.
Before the bumper:

After bumper installed:

Have the roll-over sofa in mine and love the extra floor space when the table is removed.
Also have to say the extra storage in the short bed boxes is a real plus along with the two truck bed access doors in the 850....you loose one in the 840.
Some one mentioned less counter space.....I'd say the 840 has less and loses the option to have the counter extension. Overhead cabinets in the 840 offer a bit less storage in the kitchen. The 840 table is also smaller.
Disclaimer: I'm an 850 owner and have only seen photos of an 840 so I'm biased toward the 850....just a little! :)
Really you can't go wrong with either one, each has there advantage. Ask lots of questions especially where options are concerned....I'd get the bumper factory installed if I had it to do over again and now that they do the low-profile A/C at the factory I'd have it installed by the factory. There are certain items like awnings that are dealer installed even when factory ordered.
