We are having so many fires in eastern WA that you are actually doing quite the service getting rid of infested trees. I have not yet been to the Naches area in the summer or the winter...looks nice! We went snowmobiling around the table mountain area (not really that far from where you were as the crow flies) and the burned trees were sad.
