From my experience DW is a ****shoot. I've had 4 4x4 Dodge / Ram with this suspension. Only 1 had DW. Reports on 4x4 forums indicate mixed success at resolution. Lots of older trucks running around that seem OK.
I will say that in my experience it's nothing to take lightly; having an episode on an interstate bridge @ 70mph was scary.
For me it would not rule out owning another, but of course it would be a factor in my decision which truck to buy.
