If you really LOVE the trailer AND can get a really good price - agree to use the defunct status to your advantage - I'd be inclined to give it a try. Realize that down the road, your resale will not likely be so great, but if you're planning to keep it for some time, might be a really good purchase. As said, most of the components are the same, appliances, furnace, A/C, WH, so you have a warranty from those manufacturers for however long is stated. If you feel strongly about an extended warranty, I believe Good Sam offers something but don't have any info or price on that.
