I'd like to get a TT soon so I can have as much time as possible to fix it up the way I want it before I have to hit the road. I've watched trailers come and go on ebay. Haven't found any other place ...

Funny, it says it has an "awning"... I don't see a traditional 'awning', but I guess they consider the front window screen, the "awning"... :)
Your 88 yota probably has the 22R engine? 5 speed manual?
My guess is it weighs a bit more than the #2200 the seller claims (probably closer to #2800-#3000), but no fridge? Wonder if that means it only has an "ice box"??
#3500 is probably the max for your Yota, so if you pass on this one, I'd pay close attention to a newer one and look for something with a GVWR of around #3500-#4000 at most...
It's not so much the weight, but trying to pull that big exposed front surface area of the trailer thru the air that'll kill any performace your little 4 cyl has.. ;)
